1. Kathy Ireland – $500 Million
Kathy Ireland is an Irish-American model, actress, and entrepreneur. She was the first model to earn $1 million per year, making her one of the richest models in the world.
She is best known for her work with Reebok as a spokesperson for their athletic shoe campaigns, which were launched in 1991. Her likeness appeared on billboards and in TV spots that ran from 1992 to 2000.
Kathy Ireland Worldwide (KIW) designs and markets women’s apparel and accessories under its own brand names as well as licensed brands such as Addidas, Reebok, and Champion. As of October 2016, KIW had over 50 licensing agreements with companies such as Target Corporation/Marshalls/HomeGoods/Sears/JC Penney/Nordstrom Rack, etc.
2. Gisele Bündchen – $400 Million
Gisele Bündchen is a Brazilian supermodel who was born on July 20, 1980. She is the world’s highest-paid model and is married to New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.
Bündchen has her own line of lingerie and swimwear, as well as a contract with Pantene shampoo. Her modeling career began in Brazil at age 14 when she signed with Ford Modeling Agency in New York City. She then moved from Brazil to New York where she quickly began booking jobs for Versace and Ralph Lauren campaigns before being discovered by Victoria’s Secret who wanted her on their runway show in 1997. Bündchen has since appeared in every Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show since 1999 including the 2016 show that was broadcast live from Paris.

Cindy is a famous model, actress, and businesswoman. She is one of the original supermodels and has appeared on more than 500 magazine covers. Her trademark mole just above her lip made her instantly recognizable to fans around the world. Even though Crawford retired from modeling in 1995, she continues to work as a contributing editor for Vogue magazine and serves as a special correspondent for Entertainment Tonight, among other projects.
4. Iman Abdulmajid – $200 Million
Iman Abdulmajid is a Somali-American model, actress, and entrepreneur. She’s also the daughter of a diplomat, which helped her to travel as a child. Born in Somalia, but raised in Kenya, Saudi Arabia, and Italy before moving to the United States at age 10. She has appeared on numerous magazine covers including Vogue Italia (her first) and Elle France (first non-white cover).
She is married to David Bowie with whom she has one child; Alexandria Zahra Jones who was born in 2000. After being introduced by mutual friend Tia Sillers (former editor of Black Elegance magazine) Iman started modeling professionally at 15 years old after signing with Wilhelmina Models New York City agency where she became a protégé under Linda Machado during her first year there.
5. Natalia Vodianova – $180 Million
- Natalia Vodianova is a Russian model who was born in 1985, the daughter of Russian billionaire Vladimir Potanin.
- She is married to British businessman Justin Portman and they have two children together.
- Her net worth is $180 million, making her one of the richest models in Europe.
Natalia founded The Naked Heart Foundation, which works with children suffering from heart defects or illness as well as their families. She also supports organizations that provide aid for young mothers affected by domestic violence, poverty, and sexual abuse.
6. Heidi Klum – $160 Million
You’re probably familiar with Heidi Klum as a model, but what you might not know is that she’s also a businesswoman. She has her own clothing line and has been the face of brands like Neutrogena, Pantene Pro-V, L’Oreal, and Maybelline. She is also known for her charity work with various organizations such as Project Runway (a reality show), UNICEF (which raises money for children), and New York’s Natural History Museum where she works as an Ambassador.
7. Stephanie Seymour – $100 Million
Born in Monte Carlo, Stephanie Seymour was brought up in Europe and the United States. Her father was the racecar driver John Paul Getty III (yes, that Getty), who died when she was 10 years old. Seymour started modeling at age 14, and she quickly became one of the most well-known models of her generation. Did she appear in ads for Guess? jeans and Calvin Klein underwear before landing a contract as Victoria’s Secret Angel, yes, she did. She also married Axl Rose of Guns N’ Roses fame during this time period, but they divorced several years later.
Over the next decade or so after their divorce (and subsequent remarriage), Seymour continued to model while settling down with interior designer Peter Brant II. The two had twin sons together in 2010; however, shortly after giving birth to those children, she split from Brant due to his gambling habits (he reportedly lost millions at casinos). Afterward, she moved on with billionaire hedge fund manager Nicholas Barzun—an heir to the Hamilton Watch Company fortune—who proposed marriage just three months after they met!
8. Adriana Lima – $95 Million
Adriana Lima is a Brazilian model and one of the Victoria’s Secret Angels. She has appeared in hundreds of magazines, advertisements, and TV shows. In addition to being one of their longest-serving Angels (she joined in 1999), she has also been named as one of their top earners every year since 2003.
She’s also starred in a number of movies including Sucker Punch with Abbie Cornish, The Smurfs 2 with Katy Perry, and Basic Instinct 2 with Sharon Stone.
9. Elle Macpherson – $95 Million
Elle Macpherson is an Australian model, businesswoman, television presenter, and actress best known for her role in The Body Shop. She is also well known for her work as a model on top of earning millions through endorsements with several companies including Citibank and Visa credit cards.
Her success has earned her a spot on our list of the richest models in the world. She has been listed by Forbes magazine as one of their 100 most powerful women three times since 2006 making her one of only two Australians to achieve this feat alongside Nicole Kidman who was ranked at number 66 in 2006.
Macpherson founded Elle Macpherson Intimates which sells lingerie across Australia and overseas markets including Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and Japan.
10. Tyra Banks – $90 Million
Tyra Lynne Banks is an American model, television personality, producer, actress, and author. She is best known for her supermodel status and for hosting the reality television series America’s Next Top Model. In 2014 she made her Broadway debut in The Color Purple. Banks has also written three books on modeling which have appeared on US, UK, and Australian bestseller lists and been translated into 17 languages worldwide; she holds a Guinness World Record as the world’s highest-paid supermodel as of 2016 with a total income of $4 million per year according to Forbes Magazine; she has won five Emmy Awards which include one Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show Host for creating and hosting America’s Next Top Model; she was also nominated ten times as producer/host but failed to win any awards at all until recently when her show won Best Reality Competition Series at the Critics’ Choice Television Awards 2018.
11. Alessandra Ambrosio – $80 Million
Alessandra Ambrosio is a Brazilian model, best known as a Victoria’s Secret Angel since 2007. She has been featured in campaigns for such brands as Ralph Lauren and Giorgio Armani and has appeared on magazine covers such as Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, and InStyle.
Ambrosio started modeling at age 13 and was discovered by Elite Model Management in São Paulo the following year. In 2000 she moved to New York City to continue her career; she also lived in Paris for a year before returning to New York City permanently. She has been married since 2009; she gave birth to two children (Anja Louise & Noah Phoenix) in 2010 & 2011 respectively.
12. Naomi Campbell – $80 Million
Naomi Campbell is known for her work with Victoria’s Secret and Versace’s fashion campaigns. She is a British model whose career has spanned more than 25 years. Naomi was signed to Elite Model Management at age 15, making her the first black model to be represented by them.
She was the second black model to appear on the cover of American Vogue (in April 1987). In addition, she was also featured in an editorial spread in that magazine; this made her the first black woman ever featured on either cover or within an editorial spread of this magazine. In 1989 she became the first black model to grace covers for both British and French editions of Vogue as well as Elle Magazine.
13. Kate Moss – $70 million
Kate Moss is a British fashion model who was discovered at the age of 14. She is known for her waifish figure and has been on the cover of Vogue at least 15 times. She is considered one of the most successful models in history, having appeared in campaigns for Calvin Klein, Versace, and Chanel. Kate has also worked as a spokesperson for Givenchy and H&M among others.
14. Claudia Schiffer – $55 million
Claudia Schiffer is a German supermodel and actress, best known for her work with Victoria’s Secret and Guess. She has been voted as one of the sexiest women in the world by FHM and Maxim magazines.
She started working at the age of 15 when she was scouted by a modeling agency while shopping with her mother in West Germany. In 1986 after appearing in several publications including Elle and Vanity Fair, Schiffer secured a contract with cosmetics giant Revlon. She became the first woman to appear on billboards for both cosmetic companies Revlon and Lancôme within a week of each other when she posed for both brands simultaneously in 1993; she also appeared on billboards for L’Oréal that same year.
In 1994, Schiffer graced over 500 magazine covers worldwide, including Vogue Italia where she became their “face” for three consecutive years (1993–95). That same year was named Model Of The Year at England’s prestigious British Fashion Awards and entered into “The Guinness Book Of Records” as having tied Elle MacPherson as being one of only two models to have ever featured on so many magazine covers in one year (with 414).

Linda Evangelista is a Canadian model with an estimated net worth of $50 million. She was born Linda Evangelista in 1965 in Canada of Italian heritage.
She has graced the covers of magazines such as Vogue, Elle, and Harper’s Bazaar and been featured in advertising campaigns for brands including Dolce & Gabbana and Chanel. She is often called one of the world’s most beautiful women due to her long legs and angular facial features.
16. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley – $30 Million
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is a British model and actress. She was born on April 18, 1987, in Chertsey, Surrey, England, and grew up in the town of Cranleigh. Her father died of cancer when she was 2 years old.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has been working as a model since she was 17 years old, which started with a photo shoot for Teen Vogue magazine that led to more work with different brands like Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana. She later landed her first major campaign in 2006 when she became the face of Burberry’s Autumn/Winter line alongside Sienna Miller and Keira Knightley. Petra Nemcova is a Czech model and humanitarian. She is best known for her appearance in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and for being on the cover of magazines such as Vogue and Elle.
Nemcova was born on March 23rd, 1978 in Prague, Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic). She started modeling at a young age after she was discovered by the French fashion magazine Marie Claire. It wasn’t long before she moved from Europe to New York City where she became more well known for her work on covers of magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Allure, and Victoria’s Secret catalogs. In 2001 Nemcova appeared in ads for L’Oréal Paris products including shampoo and body lotion which made her even more famous around the world!
18. Laetitia Casta – $12 Million
Laetitia Casta was born in Paris, France. She is a French model and actress who gained international fame when she became one of the most successful fashion models of the late 1990s and early 2000s. She has walked for some of the world’s top designers. In addition to modeling, she also sang on occasion, releasing her first single “Prendre Racine” in 2008.
Laetitia was born on 30 June 1978 in Paris France to actress Marisa Berenson and Jean-Claude Casta (who later changed his name to John Alexander), an actor turned director/producer whose credits include Le Grand Bleu (1988), Shootfighter: Fight to Death (1985) and La Femme Nikita (1997). Congrats to all these super talented and hard-working models! But as you can see, even though they are successful, they aren’t always happy. The money doesn’t always make up for the stress of this industry. It can be difficult to find happiness if you are constantly looking outside yourself instead of inside.
