Fitbit is releasing a new update for Charge 5, which will address the issues that have infected the device and prevent it from correctly logging a user’s daily activity. The problem impedes a user’s ability to collect data daily, mainly because their tracker does not record their workouts and daily activities.
Fitbit Charge 5 Bugs: Fix Coming Soon for Activity Tracker
Users of the Fitbit Charge 5 have reported a glitch that prohibits the wearable device from connecting to smartphones, preventing the activity tracker from working. According to Fitbit’s community site, the firm is working to resolve the issue for its consumers, including removing the flaw that causes connection issues.
Since January of this year, Bluetooth communication from device to the phone has been a problem, and users have been affected by this fault, affecting the performance it provides for the public. According to 9to5Google, the repair is on the way, and while it hasn’t arrived yet, it hopes to provide for all people afflicted by the problem, despite the numerous hurdles.
Are Users’ Activities and Data Being Taken Away?
The activities are still available on the watch, and the Charge 5 will keep them for now before connecting them to devices and fixing them in the future. The fix would enable data to be synced from the wearable to the smartphone and the app.
The activities and data from the present bugs are not permanently deleted, but they stay inaccessible due to flaws.
Google’s Wear OS on Fitbit Wearables
Google offers a variety of wearable technology alternatives, allowing users to concentrate on tracking their actions and performance during workouts and exercises. Furthermore, it enables people to monitor themselves more effectively without a gym trainer’s assistance, and it provides more information about their future needs.
Fitbit is presently running on Google’s Android operating system, which has a new feature that monitors the heart rate for information and searches for anomalies. However, this is not the case for all Fitbits, as some will have Google’s newest operating system, which Samsung and the internet giant collaborated on for the wearables.
