Google TV New Update Now Allows More Than 1 User to Access

One of the most notable aspects of the Chromecast with Google TV, released in late 2020, was the Google TV software and dashboard. Google’s most recent attempt to get its services in front of your eyes while watching TV was a launcher that prioritized personalization and intelligent recommendations, as long as you’re a one-person household.
Google TV only supported one user profile initially, but after introducing kid profiles, so you don’t have to watch endless Baby Shark-related recommendations, Google pledged to offer more. That functionality has finally arrived after a long wait and a gradual deployment.
Thanks to a live server-side update, Customers should now be able to add additional user profiles to their devices. However, this may need a reboot or reinstallation of the TV software. According to The Verge, when you restart Chromecast with Google TV, you’ll see a splash screen that says “Introducing profiles on Google TV,” asking you to add another Google account.
You’ll be able to customize your interface with different watchlists and intelligent recommendations based on your viewing patterns whenever you add more Google accounts. This should help you save time deciding what to watch while removing the need to subject your partner to recommendations of your guilty loves, such as anime shows or wrestling documentaries.
