A technology start-up, Nothing has teased its phone’s design (1) ahead of its July launch.
According to the images, this is a minimalist phone with a transparent back. The wireless charging coil is the only aspect of the device that receives the transparent treatment, as evidenced by the teaser.
The rest of the back is hidden, but the dual-camera setup in the top left corner and the Nothing logo on the bottom are visible. Several light-up strips around the camera and charging coil are visible in the photo.
Nothing touts the phone (1) design as “Designed with intention. Full of warmth. And joy”. The phone appears to have flat sides, with a volume rocker on the left side and a power button on the right. Nothing further specifies that phone (1) is made from materials chosen with care.
This phone will ship with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and 45W fast charging, and it will run on Nothing OS, which is based on Android 12.
Nothing, led by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei, wrote on Twitter, “Leaks are harder to contain nowadays, and many of you have been waiting for a long time. So here it is.”
The phone is scheduled for an official unveiling on the 12th of July at Nothing’s next event.
